So you`ve used a base coat and clear why not 2 pack solid colour..? only asking as i`ve been pricing up full paint for my series one thanks andy b

finnish's spot on, much better than the company i used to work for (UPB) theirs looked like an hamerite oringe peel effect, what paint do ya use?? they used dupont n winged about it all time, iv hered a few people say its good if you can use a spray gun lol

Simple,metalic is mainly basecoat with laquer over the top,and also thats the way it came from the factory. :)

We use `Lesanol` which i find gives a great finish,i still use `Lechler`basecoats  as i find they give great coverage and depth to the finish as well  :)

Yes mate,i`v had a lot of time off work due to illness this year so i took her home,to work on.
I am just waiting for a new headling from VWTurbo then she`s all ready to go back together with new seals n trim /wheels,bumpers  etc


Hopefully in a weeks time she will be finished!

looks great, really want to get on with mine but it's going to be next winter til i can start!
are you replacing all the window seals? only seen full sets from faroutparts for about 400 odd quid.

I have seen this in the flesh and paintwork is so smooth  8)

You can get the seals from GPC but be prepared to pay a fair sum for them!

Hurry up and ger it finished  :wink:
