as im looking to buy a mk1 gti this week Thought I would say hello hope to see you all at some meets next year
baggy welcome aboard!!!
You may want to put your region on your details. It helps people suggest cars in your area, meets near you and organise convoys of mk1's to meets sometimes  …. up to you though.
Where are you looking (ebay, autotrader etc)? I can suggest a few websites if your interested?

stick a sock in the hole or something.
(pinch your wives tights and stretch them over the hole a few times)
