whats the average age of all you mk1 owners

im 30 in 18 days time   i told the misses i want a golf rallye for my 30th b,day as a daily driver

so ill have a 20vt mk1 cab and a mk2 rallye think she loves me

I'm 22… got my campaign when i was 19!

22 years young, and the mk1 is 23 years old, 4th mk1 in 4 years of driving, but my 3rd mk1 gti.

Im 24, and had my mk1 project for erm, 5 years ops:  best i get out to the garage to finish it. 8O

18, first mk1 at 17, mk2's when i was 16 and learning. my car is nearly 7 years older than me! 8O  still lovin' it!

any one work out the average age then i keep losing count must be my old age (21)

Im 24, a year older than both of my golfs. Goes to show that all the greatest things in the world were made in the early 80's!
