Wiper and heater blower fault

I have a mk1 convertible which i think is suffering from some problems with the electrics.

when i start the car the wipers and heater blower work fine.  After about 20 mins of driving the wipers and the heater blower stop!  Its a bugger if its raining   I'm assuming its something to do with the fuse box.

Any ideas???

Have you checked the fuze box for water ingress ? Strange problem to have as their is no obvious electrical similarities .

Only seen this once.  It was a excessivly worn ignition barrel.  When it happens try turning the key towards the start position (without hitting the starter) and see it it all comes back to life.  Other than that…
