Can anybody have a quick look at there series 2 fuse board and just comfirm that it is relay number 7 as I may have others missing as well infavt if anybody could take a quick pic of 1 actually on the car that would be super

You may not have a relay with just one rear fog [correct for uk on drivers side ] just a fuzed link as i said on the top of the board .
Check that fuze it should be above relay 5 .

Should be a relay no7 for front and rear fogs. But there is also a fuze at the top of the fuze board for the fogs, should have grey white wires going to it .
You may not have a relay with just one rear fog [correct for uk on drivers side ] just a fuzed link as i said on the top of the board .
Check that fuze it should be above relay 5 .

Different to the GTI model eg relay 11 missing [rear wash wipe not on Cabriolet ]. No7 relay was never fitted . Fogs UK was one rear 21watt bulb fitted to the drivers side .
Same fuze box in say Passat with top of the range bits would have had front and rear fogs and had a relay . Parts bin again , thats why your fog light switch has 2 positions . GWtaylor your fuze panel should look like this .
