Dashboard backlights

in my driver, the backlights are fine behind the clocks, but there arent any/they dont work behind the fan switch etc under the head unit…

is there meant to be a set of lights there or not :dontknow:

Cheers

just a single bulb in the right hand side of the heater panel, it works on a prism type set up and the light shines across the panel as there is perspex in the panel itself.

its easy to change the bulb its just one of those small push in dash type bulbs, the panel itself is easy to remove just pull out the 3 sliders (after putting them to the centre is best) then pull the heater speed switch off and gently ping the corner with small bladed screwdriver

the later cabrios (like mine :banghead: ) have a sealed unit set up, the early cars just had a push in bulb holder with removeable bulb in, i replaced my sportlines heater controls with an early version for that exact reason :D
