But he's ok, wouldnt go far as to say he was a legend tho, that would fall more to Led Zep, Pink Floyd, Eric C, Jimmy H etc etc tho.. But thats just my humble opinion

after listening to that, i would prefer to. least the mortgage would be cheaper. what's all the 'voted back in' bit about
You need to have followed the telly programme. A bunch of bands sent in demo tapes, they listened to 50 of them, across a bunch of audition venues, then got it down to 12, then 7, then went on tour and eliminated one each week. This week Mancini went, but you can register and vote one of the 8 bands which didn't make it, back in, or something. Its a bit like Nikki Graeme in big brother, the bands are never really eliminated, etc….
I have to admit, I'm not watching Mancini for purely acoustic reasons…..

Hes fantastic in his purity, and I can safetly say there is no lip-sync goin on like all other pop crap.
Play my song on a tape then ill pretend to sing it? :dontknow:
Its not all about his vocal chords its about the strength and depth in his lyrics, you should see past the 'karaoke' singing that he does every blue moon and let him take you to another level!
'So tell me just how come were the Taliban
Sat burning incense in Texas
Roaming round in a Lexus
Sittin? on six billion oil drums
Down with the Dow Jones, up on the Nasdaq
Pushed into the war zones
It?s a commercial crusade
?Cause all the oil men get paid
And only so many soldiers come home
It?s a commando crusade
A military charade
And only so many soldiers come home
Soldiers, soldiers come home
Soldiers come home
Through all the blood and sweat
Nobody can forget
It ain?t the size of the dog in the fight
It?s the size of the fight in the dog on the day or the night
There?s no time to reflect'
Forget the dodgy singing. Appreciate music

obviously written by someone who's been in the armed forces……NOT
don't get me wrong i like Ian's music and songs but hes better when he goes on about fountains etc
What does it matter if hes been in the armed forces or not? lol
He obviously doesnt like war thats evident in other songs like 'upside down' for example.
I think the lyrics are good, SOLDIERS COME HOOOOMMEE

Try getting shot at!!! its not personal but having some dude in flip flops trying to shoot you with an AK47 or an RPG7 loses its fun element after a while
War is necessary……..some good people die for sure..too many usually…..but it also cleanses the earth of a lot of evil and tyrany and oppression!!! and its how humans solve problems! in the same way aninals fight to the death to become the strongest and most dominant
Maybe Ian Brown should look elsewhere for his inspiration? it makes nobody whose directly involved in a conflict feel any better, despite how they feel about the situation themselves…you sign the line you take the pay…………and if necessary pay "the man" the ultimate price
