Did you just undo the springs and shocks at the top from inside the boot????

So the rear axle will drop without touching the springs and shocks at all. Bonus.

Providing they are not seized on it's stupidly easy - just 2 nuts each side!  8O but like Robb said, best have something in place to support the axle weight.

Yep well will get the jack under it to support so it can be lowered slowly and pushed back up nicely. 8)
