And yes, its the simple changes that make the difference here. BBS RMs and a healthy drop are classic mods, but they have been carried out with a real eye for detail. Plenty of people have done the same and in my opinion he results dont look nearly as good. The stance, for instance, is just about perfect on both cars, and neither are what I would describe as 'over lowered'
To me its obvious that great care and attention have gone into creating a look that is close to standard!

I've got a feeling they were taken during the Worthersee VW show, but I dunno why they are all at the shell garage. Perhaps they all needed charcoal for their BBQs?

RS are three piece wheels with a flatter centre cap.
RM are two piece and have a nut style centre cap.
The centres could be changed I think so its main difference is the construction of the wheel

As for BBS RS / RM, the RM are 2 piece - the outer rim is one bit and the rest of the wheel is the other. The RS are 3 piece - the outer rim is one, the 'star' that you see from the front is two, and the inner rim is three. The bolts on the RM screw into the main body of the wheel. The bolts on the RS pass through all three sections and are secured with nuts on the back. The RM centre caps clip on and are flat on the outer face with 'dimples'. The RS centre caps are threaded on the back and screw into the 'star'. The RS caps have the cross spoke pattern that lines up with the centre star. This is the easiest way to spot the difference. The cross spoke pattern stops before the centre cap on an RM. The caps can't be swapped between RS and RM. The outer rims can be changed between the two though.
Cheers !
