Winter's nearly here...
I am back on the LS resto over the winter. Need to make up mind how I want her to look ready for next year. I see some cold nights in the garage ahead!

Jobs still to do include new sills, repairs to floor pan, fabricate/obtain new fuel pump bracket, make up new fuel lines (can i splice in a new section at the rear?) new brake lines, new rear panel, new wings, possibly new bonnet, get new headlining fitted, prep for paint and get it resprayed. That is scary now i look at it. Certainly didnt plan on all this work/expense before i started stripping it. It only failed its mot on a small hole near the axle mounting point!.

In all honesty, might see if i can psare tim to fit the v-sam pro I've had for 3 years on the garage wall - that would be agood start, so at least i can start to plug the laptop in ops:
Daniboy, if you want a headlining drop me a pm

But seeing as it's my daily driver at the moment, i don't think it's going to happen unless i can find myself a reliable useable small car for the winter for ?300??

Also noticed one of the bottom of the rear wheels arches is looking a bit flakey - not sure I am feeling brave enough to start poking in there with a screwdriver yet though 8O

Just dropped my silver mk1 campaign back onto the fully rebuilt/powder coated axle after extensive repairs to the rear end. New axle mounting points, chassis outriggers, spare wheel well, inner arches.
Have you got any pics of this - if so could you post them up in the restoration section? I've got to do the same to mine over the winter, and I'd really appreciate seeing how it's done 8)
