Mystery wire???
I have discovered a mystery wire in my engine bay. I found it ages ago, and always meant to find out what it's supposed to connect to, but forgot about it until today. It's hanging loose, not connected to anything, no connector on the end even. Looks like it's been cut in the past.
It's Brown with a white stripe, and is in the same bunch of wires that connect to oil pressure switch, oil temp switch etc.
Everything seems to work on my car, engine starts and runs fine and there's no obvious sensor or connector for it to go to, so anyone got any ideas?
The car is a 1983 Cabriolet 1800 GTi by the way
cheers
mike.
