No Bar In The Eveing Disco

Just a reminder - same as every year - we ARENT having a staffed bar in the Railway Bar during the fancy dress disco.

Bring your own beer/ wine/ cider etc in a cool box and you'll be sorted.

The catering staff have offer to bring a stick of alcohol and the way it would work (to get round licensing regs) is… You'd need to buy a number of raffle tickets and then exchange for a can. 
Cost per can would be about £1.00 each. 

Alternatively, if you run out of beer you cod drive to Tesco an get more and get arrested for drink driving!! I know which option i'd prefer!! 

Would the raffle ticket option be of use to anyone???

You and me both, can't stop myself when I see raffle tickets.     

My Wife is always on at me, "How many you bought now, none for me, don't dare buy anymore" etc…  

Mind you these seem really worth it, doesn't matter which of the two raffles there for!

The raffle ticket are like a pre-pay thing so they don't take money for beer - unless you class getting a can of beer that you've already paid for a prize then there isn't a prize to be had!!!

I'd never heard of this approach before so I may not have explained it properly.

I understand the meaning.  

 I guess this is in reference to my post.
Sorry Chairman, it was a misunderstanding because my Wife complains (like you would not believe).
That for every paper raffle ticket I have in my hand, I win.
I had five raffle tickets at New Year costing a pound seventy each and came home with 3 crates of beer and a large plant.  

Hope that clears it up!
