Everyone will be called Mate !!

Life is simple.

1. Large Scotsman going to first AGM.

2. Large Scotsman pretty active on forums.

3. Large Scotsman therefore knows lots of people on the forum.

4. Large Scotsman is terrible with names.

5. Large Scotsmsan not getting embarrassed calling people by wrong name.

6. Large Scotsman calling everyone MATE incl own wife and children.

7. Large Scotsman sorted.






 

you will also find most of the west midlands lot like to be addressed as bert! including bert

West Midlands, Essex, Northumberland etc, they are all the same to me Matt, all from beyond the Wall and all their inhabitants are known worldwide as Mate ;-)

Personally I shall be using 'mucker' as a large Scotsman has taken my usual phrase.  
A small Cornishman.

true we've had record sales on AG merch with peoples names on just so the scots man can call us our names rather than mate or bert

Dano jellybelly  I have a one of the t-shirts as well but fully expect to also be called mate all weekend :-D

An occasional Bert will also suffice but not after midnight !!
