Don't put your car down m00. With the bodywork done and new paintwork, I'm sure its looking stunning, and there will be lots looking forward to seeing it at the AGM.

Not sure about the starting problem, but it could be something simple, even a wire or pipe on wrong.  Loads of mechanically minded people on here, so someone will have the answer. Think positive.

You're so sweet, Watson (I can say that, I'm a girl). I'll see how I feel closer to the time.

Good news anyway, it started and runs well - think the carb needs a tweak though!
