Thanks for your positive comments about the drive out, there was much pressure getting this right as I'm a local lass!
Thanks must go to my husband Elv too, who endured 4 runs of the route!
3 practice runs plus one on the Saturday morning of the AGM with Glen to make sure it was OK after the floods.

Shame the rain hit us though but watching everyone (including me) having to get out and get roofs up quick was hilarious

i heard rumours of something like 92 or 94 cars went out and we got 87 to donnington so good going! :-) and thnink that beat last years record didnt it?

84 it was last year mate and 92 this year... so taking flooding etc into account, being 8 cars up this year is immence!!!

It was awesome most fun I've had driving that car in ages did any one see the guy on the bike stopping to count us on the way back?

yeah i saw the guy counting the cars as they went past had a bit of a smile on his face too

Hi Anna, many thanks for help in organising the drive out - it was great fun especially that blast on the dual carriageway and getting the hood up in rapid time before that downpour!

superb route anna, really good instructions too as I found myself lost from the group in front at one point but managed to follow it ok :-)

Great Drive out! Just zipped up from London to make it in time at venue to join in  - really fun and scenic too. Surreal feel of being surrounded by some many examples of wonderful cars with time warp quality

I enjoyed my short run,i  stopped to help a yellow peril …….but then realising I didn't know where I was going had to head back to camp :-(
