Am I right in thinking the live should be a red wire coming from B11 on the fusebox?

Ground should be simply connecting to one of the ground terminals near the fusebox.
Where should I be getting the ignition live from?
Is there anything else I've missed apart from speakers and aerial?
Thanks in advance

You will need the following.
Ground wire, any wire that you can attach to the frame will work, and not interfere with other things.
Live fused wire from the battery B+ +12VDC for the keep alive circuits of the head unit.
Switched +12VDC for the Radio/Head unit whatever.
You can get this from the +12V side of the Demister switch black/yellow wire.
There is a company that makes Pseudo old look headunits. They look like OEM radios but have bluetooth USB charging ports and SSD slots.
For me when my Premium Audio LCD took a tank, I decided to replace it with a Bluetooth/hands free Media player Got the Same sound, Weighed 1/3 the weight wasn't as long. The Exception is that I got one with a external Microphone.
On my Cabriolet I mounted the external Microphone above the Drivers side demister vent in the corner next to my Lamp switch. I used double sided sticky tape. This was out of the wind, and I didn't have to scream into the phone but talked normal. With the Top down there wasn't any excessive wind noise.
CAVEAT. On Cabriolet, I always made sure the side clips for holding the unit were a little loose as I would rather a thief be able to remove the Head Unit easily rather than ruining the Dash and surround.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?
They all start with GOOD Grounds.

I'm not fussed about keeping it classic looking. I have a Bluetooth Pioneer unit I could use but may look at something with CarPlay.
The speakers are the next issue, I have the small oval speakers in the front pods. I'll want components so will either have to buy the later door pods or custom make some.
For the rears, I need to remake my parcel shelf so was thinking I may put them in a stealth shlef instead of next to the rear passengers. I'm not sure though, what do others generally do to get a decent sounding system?
