my mk1 kr conversion project

So I've been busy on my donor car… stripped the engine out… Thanks to those that helped out with the rounded Allen bolts. I've also started stripping the engine down and brought a handful of the parts I need to start rebuilding it. Although I am tempted to get it painted and cleaned before I do this.

A big step forward  

Would definitely clean and paint everything.

Pazwaa. It was a big step and I even got as far as 're building the head… started to look at the block and found it had a huge crack between 2 cylinders and several water holes… I've since sold the mk2 and the engine to go with it… I've decided to get a mk4 1.8t. Or at least that's the new plan as I'm going to start on the body work soon hopefully just need to buy a welder and start chipping away at the list of bits that need repair.
