Notice that the handles are off of one side allowing closer trim.
I also have a variety of microfiber, wax appliers, and sheep wool pads to polish/scrub/buff/ and anti-swirl.
When using it, make sure that you keep it clear of Rubber bits as dried wax is hard to get off, but (WD-40) works well if you do. The issue with rubber bits is that it is grainy and the wax gets into the grain…then you have to get it cleaned after. I also usually on my cabby, take the waist trims off as well as the Door Handles, and Tape off the rear hatch seal, and the edges of the black plastic boot/license plate cover.
As far as mop heads, I have about 10-15 different ones, that after using I use a bucket, and some Dawn Dishwashing fluid, fill the Bucket about half full of hot water and mix about 2 tablespoons of detergent swished around and add the still damp covers, as it tends to clean up, and add more water to get the water up to about 3/4 full and using a stick, swish then around a bit…. Heres the BIG HINT to keep a happy home.
I go to a Laundromat, using a modicum of bleach and more Laundry soap and use someone elses washer to wash them, then dry them so you don't have to clean your washer/dryer after, and have your better 3/4 yelling at you that you have covered her intimates with a waxy residue….

I do the same with my shop rags….. as I don't like having to run degreaser and stuff through my washer as well as bleach about 3 empty loads worth to clean my washer and wipe my Dryer out with a Degreaser and using rags to rinse the innards…(So I am saving your back, saving your ears, and Saving your marriage).

Da polishers are pretty pants, I don't own one and never will.
Rotary polishers are ace, but you need to be careful with them, you can quickly do a lot of damage with one if you're not paying attention.
I opt for a forced rotation polisher, whilst similar to a da, it doesn't stall with added pressure…. it's a happy medium between a da and a rotary, and bloomin powerful too.
Flex is my weapon of choice, I have a few different ones, but the 3401 is my go too machine, coupled with scholl polishes and various grades of pad, you can't go wrong.

Can't comment on it's quality, but 1200w seems fairly beefy to me - https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/hofftech-1200w-polisher-variable-speed-553990960

I have been using a random orbital for about 15 years, have been through 3 of them….. Whole lot easier than wax-On, wax-Off by hand…. Very little hand needed, and you can take off the over wax on rubber bits with WD-40 and a Rag…..
I will say that in my youth, I was really really good with the High Speed……
Now that I am Aged like fine Whiskey,,,,,the smaller lighter random orbit is just fine.
