Heater blow seal??????

Looks like the blower has had draught excluder, silicone and even blu-tack (!) used to seal it to the heater box. Parts list show no seal at all??? Wonder what other have done?

8mm in height can't remember the width off hand, about 12mm. Squashes right down when tightened

Well it's up to you what you do. I used the seal. You can see it in the photo.
