Okay,
So where to begin?

For those of you new to the thread, I should probably explain that half the reason this all started was as a bit of an outlet for me.  A particularly bobbins time at work was more bearable by a regular rant and spanking the itunes account with new music.  I live in a total cartoon and sometimes writing things down helps put things in context.

It all just went a bit mental from there.  What is this now?  Over a year, 40 odd pages, what has to be over a thousand songs?

Awesome, utterly awesome.

Anyway, in July last year I made the move to a much smaller firm to problem solve and sort a few bits and pieces and the next six months were what can only be described as some of the most stressful of my working life culminating in me throwing in the towel in January and accepting an excellent role with a fantastic company in London.
Which should have been the end of it yeah?  Closing scene with a voice over telling you how it all worked out in the end.  Fade to black.  Credits.

But where's the fun in that?

So after protracted negotiation I was convinced to stay.  I got the backing and support to open my own division, got to hire my new "boss" and a sweet package.

And somehow I find myself here.  Back in my spot as slightly evil number 2 (it turns out I simply don't have the patience to be the guy at the front but I am ruthlessly efficient at the being the bostard in the background) and opening another Catering desk.  I'm looking forward to a busy summer working at gigs and festivals.  I'm not entirely sure how it'll work out and I've got a Plan B and possible C just in case.

Oh yeah, there's also the bit about my wife quitting her excellent roll in the city to chase her dream and work for a Paraolympian.

But that's enough for now.
