Clutch Slipping - All seals changed

Settling In
All leaky seals have been replaced. The clutch was new and replaced 20 miles or so prior to seal replacement. It was cleaned when the seals were done but it is still not right.
Can someone help me please….??

More info on car, engine and box type would be good.

10-15 miles of driving and it started to slip. Oil leaking from bell housing.
So off came box, replaced seal behind clutch, pushrod seal again along with the seal at the base of the shaft.
No more oil leak but the clutch is still slipping.

It is a Sachs clutch kit that was fitted.

Also just check your clutch cable is adjusted correctly so you have a small amount of play at the top of the pedal.
If it is contamination I'd be tempted to leave it as is for a while if you can stand it. It might get better of its own accord. Remember the plates had probably not fully bedded together if it was new so only getting partial contact on an oily surface leading to the slip. It might be OK once bedded in a bit more.
Another trick which might help is to take the timing mark bung out the top of the bell housing and with a mate with his foot on the clutch (engine off) is to pour 2 litres of the cheapest cola you can find down the hole. You know the sticky teeth feeling you get after drinking coke - it has the exact same effect on a slipping clutch. Not sure what the long term effect is though but if you think you may have to drop the box again anyway - what you got to lose? It'd be worth the experiment!

I will try the cola trick. If all else fails you reckon new friction plate?
Can i use any branded plate or will it have to be Sachs again?

I've always used sachs kits no problem, luk also good but i have heard of a couple failing early over the years but not that many tbh. (never with sachs tho!)
VW use a mix of sachs and luk parts from the factory if thats any help
also google tips on how to get oil out of friction material, there are some good ideas out there. iirc there was one involving fire which if nothing else would be fun
