Eastbourne Show today 05/05/13?

Was a Black gti 1983, had some details in the window stating what had been done by owner and the name after as Dan ,and a mk1 owners forum badge hanging from the rear view miror. I did wait about a bit and come back a few times but could not see owner. Also Laser Green Gti tintop a bit up the field.

Very nice mate, I did keep comming back to both in hope I might see the owners, was a fair bit of interest around both tbh from other people looking (although one bloke I was standing next to at one point thought the black one was a Mk2, I very nicely put him right and very nice to see a couple of mk1's.

I didn't know about the show untill Sunday morning when I was searching on the internet for something to do in sussex so I could take the wife and kids out. We all really enjoyed it and as a bonus it's free entry. Just wondering if the club would be interested in seeing if they could do a club stand next year as I would be up for that. There were a few other owners clubs there.

Prob not going to have the time to show mine but hopefully will be attending, not sure which day yet (weather may decide this) but if Sunday would be good to meet up. Not sure if your aware but a few of us have got together and now have a Sussex region and met last Saturday at devils dyke. Next meet is the 11th of May at Beachy Head if your interested.

2nd and 3rd of May. I didn't realise it was at this time and have goth son and daughters birthday on the 3rd so hopefully will go on the Saturday.

Just a reminder that Eastbourne Magnificent Motors is on 29th and 30th April. It is a great general classic car show and free. There is also lots to do for any non-car loving family members.

You do need to register pretty quick if you want to show your car. I will be there with my Lhasa Green GTI on the Saturday.

Be good to meet up with some local club members.
