Advise needed to help fix our daily
All help/suggestions are welcome - so far the car has already cost me just short of a grand this year so I'm reluctant to send it to the local garage again as at this rate I'm rapidly running out of cash to get it fixed !

How and when is it over revving?
From cold, warm, hot or all of the above?
Stationary, pulling away or what mate?
Not that I have the answers but we need a bit more meat added to the bone.
And you still might need to have it plugged in to the computer to find the answer!
My last three Land Rovers, no matter what problem I had, all I had to do was take a 4lb lump hammer to it!

When I was out in the car, it appeared to be when changing gear the car continues to rev when the clutch is depressed rather than releasing ?
Apologies for being a bit lite on the info but this is a relatively recent problem.

Then see how it behaves the next day or two.
Also known as sh^t or bust!
Or
Throw money at it!
Or
Give it to me!
(I still love Land Rovers ) I know, I know but…

Surprisingly Mike your idea seems to have worked, a bit of a blast and touch wood no further problems
