16v wiring pictures? HELP

Im in the middle of doing a 16v (2.0 9a) conversion, i have a pre 90 spec mk2 gti engine bay loom and was just wondering if anyone could help me out, im am very new to this and dont know much about engines or wiring so its a bit tricky for me, just wondering if anyone has pics of particular plugs (colours of wires or plugs) and where they go so i know, ive looked on rubjohnny fusebox guide but i would like pics if possible as im still a few missing and confused, some nice engine bay close ups would be good

its a popular conversion n theres no guide i dont think ??

There are guides but I can't find any with detailed pictures as i dont know what a lot of the things are they mention

was it a gti to start with because all of the mk1 wiring plugged straight in on my kr conversion and most have colour coded plugs  

i noticed your fusebox is the old type so i dont think the new loom will plug straight in

have you got the ecu and loom or are you using something else to control the ignition timing
