Bonnet opening on bumps.
I have a set of koni adjustables and lowered Eibach springs fitted, i wonder if it just cause its harder suspension, My bonnet catch worn or can it be adjusted.
I have tried pulling it open when i shut it but it seams solid.
Its doing my head in esp when i am on dual carrage ways as i keep waiting for it to flip right open sometime and smash my windscreen and roof, and its also a pain having to slow down till i find somewhere to stop.
Thoughts guys.

In my last Mk1 I had the bonnet fly up when I was doing about 55mph. It made a mess of the bonnet top corners and wrecked the hinges, but didn't break the windscreen (it hits further up but didn't even damage the edge of the roof). You can also look through the air intake slats to see where you're going to pull over It had wedged over the wiper arms and they had to be removed just to get the bonnet back down! Don't rely on the safety hook to stop it blowing up, it might not always work!

When it has unclipped in the past, luckily enough the safety hook kept hold of it.
