1.3gt conversion wiring - Help needed
Well, About a month ago I bought my first Mk1 project. Doing a 1.3gt conversion with bike carbs. Im a complete novice at this so its a learning curve for me as Ive always been in to bikes.
Below are a few pics of some wires as Im trying to figure out where they all go? I have numbered them for easy reply and help on these?
Hope these pics show enough detail but if you require anything else to be able to give me some guidance just let me know. I just want to get her running first before the entire makeover starts.
The right person will prob get this running within a day but as I'm a novice its going to take me a bit longer! :?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Two wires from coil running in to this one…
From coil…
I assume these are for the positive battery terminal?
Front passenger side…
Negative battery terminal, assume this needs to be earthed on the body?
Where would the break servo vacuum go with bike carbs fitted?

2-2nd brake light switch doesnt need to be connected, just for added safety.
3-
4-something to do with the rev counter i think
5-
6-
7-looks like blue wire that goes to alternator?
8-looks like it should be going to battery positive
9-same as 8 (battery positive i think)
10- not sure could be coil for polo gt
11-
12-earth bolts onto gear box
13- vacuum hose for brake servo
14- not sure possibly just bolt onto battery positive

Thanks mate, great help. My question about the brake vacuum servo hose is where it needs fitting when fitting bike carbs?

I think No 5 is for front fog lights, which were probably never fitted.

Thanks mate, the less wires I need to find a home for the better!
