Wolfsburg steering wheel

Need a bit of help please.
ive just treated myself to a lovely original Wolfsburg steering wheel for my series 1.
its come with the boss and the cable for the horn has a miniature lug (female spade).
the problem is I can't see where it plugs in on the wheel.

Mine doesn't have one shall I just cut one out

Could do or solder a piggy back connecter on it? Or solder wire to centre brass bit and a male terminal on end if the wire.

The wheel I got is in great condition . Happy I got it as they seem quite rare

They are! Think easiest or most practical would be wire onto the brass.
