VW Caddy MK1 Sport F4V VW

Here is my MK1 Caddy Sport, previously owned by Al (head of Caddy Forum). Picked up last week from West Yorkshire, trailored home to Kent where she is originally from and already been to 2 shows in 2 weeks. Ordered original Schmidt Revolution centre caps and at the weekend going to flood the box sections, doors, bulkhead and anywhere else with waxoil to keep her tip top.
Goes well with my Sons MK1 Caddy.

Polished The Dishes With New Centre Caps And Chrome Nuts. Schmidt Modern Lines 15" 8J On The Sport.

Removed plates waiting for new private plate and holders. Removed tailgate and treated small blisters of rust behind and killed it, repainted with hammerite rust killer primer and original Alpine white. Also filled the inside cavities and tailgate with trusty Waxoil.

I like that alot, not a model you see everyday!

Bought Sport sticker pack and added bonnet sticker ,added sport side decal to Truckman. Been to few shows now and fully detailed with Autoglym HD wax.

are you sure its original paint as normally the zender kit would be yellow by now

Thanks for the reply, your truck looks really nice as well. Your right about the body kit, it has been re painted, but the actual body work is original paint.

it is amazing condition for an old pickup, is the kit fiberglass on yours? I have another zender kit for my golf that looks the same but its plastic, was going to swap the bumpers and front arches as have a few cracks in the caddy kit.

I will probably swap back to red grill trim at some stage

I think its a plastic composite, my kit is actually in fairly good conditions with minimal damage and little cracks. I love the red grill to, sets off the front i think ;D
