There are a couple of posts on here about this from way back. Did a quick search and came up with this

Unfortunately the pic has been taken out of the vortex link but you might be able to find it archived on there

If you use the search button (above middle) you might be able to come up with some more.

As long as the hood doesn't leak and the seals are good there is not a problem using a Cabriolet in winter. Mine is perfect in these areas and the snow is a lot easier to remove from a fabric roof!!

I agree, I've used mine as a daily for 5 years summer and winter and no problem.

Putting the roof down on a crisp sunny winters day with scarf gloves and heater on is even better than on the hottest sunniest day!

not sure half of me likes it the other half thinks it would be better in one piece but the idea of the targa roof I do like maybe if it was 2 piece it would be the best of both worlds lol

I would love to have one just to be different. It would be a great talking point, it's like debumpering your mk1, some love it and some hate it. I think the hard top rocks just because theyre so rare.

soft top is actually better than a tintop in the winter as it has a massive thick insulation pad in it, whereas tintop has a little bit of foam glued to the roof ;)
