Description:
Ok so unfortunately i have to sell the Golf.I bought the car as a knackered 1.1 about 2 years ago.It was bought as a restoration project which i have only just completed and had Mot'd.Car was a bit of a state,no rust just all original featured ripped out so ive went about putting it back together while adding a Golf rallye engine, tombstone seats and a few other bits.Body work was very good when i got it (no rust!) but paint job was a bit shoddy and had a few small car park dent so the body work has been done, inc a replacement front panel.Car was due to be resprayed properly but due to losing the lock up the car was given a quick spray with matte black instead.Everything works on this car,ive spent alot of time and money fixing and replacing parts. As you can see alot of its new and ive only driven the car a few times(thought id sold it so cancelled my insurance and havent insured it again).Goes like a rocket.Im guessing itll be pushing near 200bhp but im not sure.If it takes a while to sell then ill get it on the rolling road etc to get figures.Car has full Mot as of Mon 12th Oct and has 3months tax left. Here is a spec list of what on the car.

New pictures added today from doing the head gaskett, had to remove the head to fix threads for the exhaust studd.Head cleaned up and wiring tidied away with conduit.
Not sure on the value ,the engine and charger are rare enough seeing as only 5000 rallyes were made, only a tiny amount came to the uk and even less are still on the road. Not to mention all the work etc thats went into doing this so i think £3000 is a fair price
