My mk1 Build *S1 dash now in, pg9*

I dunno if I could bring myself to take my cars to track days. half of them dont know what they are doing and I have seen far to many good cars getting wrecked. I wouldnt take a minted car on anyway.  My Dad did the rally school there a few times. Im going to do that next year.

aye there can be daftes up there but you can go to the one for road carsnot as bad

Just a little update.

I painted the fan cowling, servo, master cylinder, alternator, rocker cover and manifold.

cheers, all I need to do now is get a new hot air pipe. I think that will just finish it off

What did you paint those parts with?

I was thinking of using hammerite straight to rust paint.

I rubbed it all down and used hammerite for the servo, engine mounts, fan cowling etc and high temp stuff for the rocker cover and manifold from halfords. That was a spray.

No, I have never owned another mk1. This is my first car. What made you think that? The reg looks familiar though.

Loving this car    Looks like youve taken a lot of time and care and it certainly shows!

i thought you where going to sit you test no??

I should be sitting it quite soon. Getting my theory test very soon though.
