Problem is it happens on all the forums though, not just Mk1 Golf OC. I'd be interested to hear your suggestions on what to do.

Ben, I agree mate, its not fair to knock someones pride n joy when they are trying to sell it, Banter on general issues or arguing over people tastes etc is different. Cars for sale, if nothing sensible to say then dont say anything at all..

Ok 4500 might look a bit pricey to some, but to others who see the work gone in etc it may seem cheap, let someone who's interested be the decision maker not someone who just wants to cause problems. Good luck selling mate, I know what its liek having to part with the motor for personal issues, hope everythings ok…
