GUTTED!! i cantg lower the caddy on the back, i thought i would just check the distance under the back arch as the lowering plates drop it by 80mm and ive only got 45mm. so it looks like its guna stsay as it is unless i change my wheels :x

Poo.

What size wheels are you running? Most caddys I've seen are on 13s - hence the extra ~40mm it would give you for an 80mm drop if you're currently running 15s?

That said, I've seen some flipped axles with lowering blocks which end up stupidly low, no idea if they encounter arch fouling problems there??

On the bright side it gives you an excuse to look for some schweet new wheels? ATS Classics seem to be the standard fit for caddys, they only come in 13" and tend to look awesome.

Hope you find a solution anyway!

im just guna leave it as it is for now i think, im running 15 inch wheels at the mo, theve cost me a fortune to get powdercoated and the new tyres so its staying like it is for now!! might get some lowering plates made that only drop it 40mm 8)

well ive chewed up one of my tyres already!!
i went to town tuesday night and went over a speed bump a bit quick and tore a massive chunk off my new tyre! so on wednesday lunchtime the front arches got some mega treatment!!
took the sport arch off and cut the wing right back so its just covered by the sport kit, then i also cut the sport arch right to the edge so it gives the wheel some clearence to bounce up into. i didnt take any pics cus i was rushing it a bit!!

Cripes!

That sounds pretty extreme, though if it's sorted then you're sorted!
Did you put the coilies on the front after all?
