Not the most glamorous location in the world but…

I took it for its mot today and after 10 months work i get turned away for my number plates!  :banghead:

Oh well, on the plus side it is unbelievably fast, wheelspin from 50mph in 5th when you press the loud pedal.    cant wait to get it on the road.

Thanks! As the mrs said today "it will probably never be finished" as theres always something i want to do, as it is its back on the road and its going to take some getting used to to say the least! Ive got a polished scuttle cover to fit, polished rad cover then tidy up a bit of paintwork in the engine bay and for now thats it! Its taken 10 months to get this far so its time for some driving first :D

Areet mate, i've got to hand it to ya, good work, all in 10 months too! Total sleeper, looks amazing in that last photo with the door open.  I'll build a fast one someday! I've got a S1 auto too, mines staying standard tho! Lol!

How did you find the conversion? Easy/hard? Scale of 1-10?

I had help when required from a top VW man and my other cars a TVR so im pretty handy with a spanner! so all in all id say about 6 The further along you get the more you learn and the easier things become.
If your not that confident and on your own it could be very difficult, the best start is the right list of components to get you on your way but youll be surprised how quickly the list grows!

But now its done
