Obvious…?!  Someone just added slats to make look retro.  Other than not black anymore, looks original cabrio roof rack.

im yet another cabrio owner desperate for this roof rack. It seems there would be quite a high demand them if someone were to manufacture these  :wink: It doesn't seem too hard a job and could make someone a few ???'s!
 
Maybe a preliminary poll of all interested would further encourage someone to have a bash?

I can only imagine how cool my golf would look with my surfboard on these bars!

I know of a source for mk3 cab racks. Someone has bought one to try and get it to fit mk1. They are VERY simialr. COMPLEX job though.

I have stuff made all day long, problem is it'd have to be made by pattern, you wanna give me a pattern, I'll get you a price
