All electrics are near enough there now, all the lights work, all the dash and buttons do what they're suppose to do. New door cards are in and all the speakers are wired up, built the dash up too.

Took the hood, frame and motors off the donor. Now I need to grind off the brackets that hold all the motors and rams for the power hood and weld them into mine.

Yeah it's a fiesta turbo, got a escort turbo in the other corner and recently just got rid of a three door that was restored in there.

Thanks for the nice comments, I try my best but is hard now I'm running my other business 7 days a week.

Been a busy day for me and the Golf, Removed all the powerhood brackets from the donor ready to be welded into mine.

Generally gone around the car tidying loose ends up.

Also managed to get her fired up tonight which I'm very happy with.

The trim I've gone with for now.

Power hood stuff removed.

Right so after messing around with 50/50 fuel lines/pumps off a GTI and Carb I stripped the whole lot of the GTI stuff off and replaced it all with the carb stuff.

The car now draws fuel all by its self, all I need to do now is get a choke cable for it.

Also got the clipper kit back on it tonight and fit the hood, well kind of fit the hood. Its as fitted as its going to be until I get the white skin fitted.

Well it a milestone today, the cars has gone to a garage to have some tweaks and an MOT!

Its been a long while coming but she looks like shes nearly bloody done.

Last few days went summat like this… Welded roof brackets in for power hood, wired power hood and tidied all wires up in boot, fitted carpets and interior, raised the front of the car up another 15mm maybe need to go a little more, rear needs to go up a good 30mm or so, and aload of tidyng little bits up so the lads at the MOT/Garage wont have to.

Forgot to mention should also be getting its white hood on next weekend.

Still finding jobs to sort out.

Recently fixed the issue of having no reverse lights, got the power hood wired up, and fitted a new speedo cable however now I'm waiting on the speedo cable gearing to arrive from VW.

Still need a few little bits also, a wanted ad can be found for what I'm missing in the wanted section on here.
