Look what i found at work today .

On a Farm near me ! Owner local farmer will happily let you remove any usefull parts [car is beyond saving and has no V5 identity] . Its remove parts  your self , by prior arrangement only . For in his words a few quid . Or the whole thing for the price of the scrap value.      

Located if you fancy some bits at DN21 Area . North Lincs . Between Scotter and Gainsborough .

Pm ME 'ONLY' IF YOU CAN GO AND GET BITS OR THE WHOLE CAR for contact details . I don't want any one to mess the Guy about .

Those wheels are worth quite a bit - they're Scirocco Storm ones and look in good condition! Realistically, what is he valuing it at for scrap value?

Plus you could probs get a gew bob for that steering wheel.

I didnt know mk1 storm bits were worth much. My local breakers has a complete standard mk1 Scirocco Storm in pale blue with a good black interior, it has rotten arches and the door bottoms have gone, he was after 600 which i thought was a bit ott with the rot.  :dontknow:

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news guys, but i pm`d chudd before anyone had actually replied on the thread, i have been and picked a few bits up off the car. Alot of the parts have had it, so not even worth taking, but i got what i wanted

I don`t reckon he would want that much for the wings, i did not really take that much notice of them.  :dontknow:

The side strips have actually got a chrome strip on them, and there are pieces missing and damaged on the passenger side, but the drivers side are salvageble.

Rear lights , 1 had water in, but could maybe be re-sealed  :dontknow:

But like chudd said, the roof could definatly be saved
