jealous comments by other drivers, on the road

Felt terrible when a driver wound down his window at the traffic lights and shouted "didn't he do well" and laughed out loud"

Anyone else had jealous comments thrown at them whilst on the road?

take it to the scrap yard! i've had that a few times come to think of it lol!

as for other road users in general i only get possitive looks or comments, some people dont even know what a mk1 golf is!! waaaaaaaaaaay before their time

Had a possitive comment from a guy in a Cupra R the other day about my Corrado, he had been trying to catch up with me :wink:  just to say how nice it was ops:

Well, my cars looking swell now she has had a respray and its looking like its just left the factory, so I know his comment was sheer jealousy although made in a nasty way. Most of the time I get nice comments and people in general love the mk1 Golf.

By the way she passed the MOT yesterday!

Can't imagine what a little rooster that bloke must have, shame really. I'm too short tempered for that kind of thing and have a surprisingly loud voice when needed. I find it's best to use it full blast, tends to send people running for cover.

last year at the pod think it was retro cars day this guy in the merc  behind me was heard saying to his mate that my looked gay and he would whip my butt on the strip to which my friend laughed and said goodluck
