you got them gaskets now then mate, did you enquire about doing them in different colours at all. What black stone gaurds you getting

Kenno only got the gaskets in black I'm afraid but I reckon with the black strips handles mud flaps etc it should look ok.
I've ordered matt black stone guards hopefully it should all match in.

papricka red with grey gaskets, (most prob faded black)

could you not try a vynal paint? used some of this on a polo i had years ago and it works very well.

Cabby Restoration

Looks awesome, Robbo.
I've just started to restore a white cabby myself - in Warrington also!
Don't suppose you could give me an idea of the total amount you've spent so far? Especially on the respray??
Plus, any parts left over?? lol!!

Hi Rob
the respray was ?1600 I would guess that I've spent about the same again on all of the other bits ( lights struts radiator etc etc ) I'll tot it up and let you know

The Hammerite goes on easier than the grime comes off.

looking good though. have you checked that coupling to be sure it's not leaking?

arrunjay/rob go put your name on the list of warrington members its in the regional meets bit. i'm reckoning theres about 20 people in a 20 mile radius which is not bad. and could make for an interesting meet for the locals.

Nearly mot time got to do the exhaust this afternoon and then I think its
just bit & bobs to tidy it up etc (fingers crossed) 8O checked all the couplings just one had a weep so I've sorted that.
