your clipper kit will be all white too, so may be overkill.. wondering, was the original hood white too…

all you'd need then would be a good set of whitewall tyres and you'd be set..

As far as I know the hood has always been in black.

Whitewall tyres :dontknow: might have a go on Photoshop an see what they look like.

I just wish I'd had this info pror to starting my restoration project :roll:

Started rebuilding the rear end.


Fitted most of the interior.

Have gone for the white grille.

Cars looking really good well done, I cant help but say "Snap!…"

Yes I've only just got the gaskets in the post from America so I couldn't fit the rest of the body kit.

As the gaskets are black they leave a black pin stripe between the body and the kit so I've decided to get some of the black stone guards to match with it all.

Only problem is that I've now got to wait for them to arrive from America now :cry:

Where are the gaskets? i only have them on the sill, and a little one on the arch's

They will be exactly the same as yours I guess but with it being black and white its going to show up a bit.

The old ones were white plastic so they blended in with the body work sadly I could only get  them in black now.

What about your car colour and gaskets.

Where did you get them from? Im broken mine taking the kit off.

An American seller on Ebay called moogie2498.

The quality is good but it took a couple of weeks to arrive the downside is they only come in black.

Ive not painted mine yet so the chances are ill paint the body fit the kit with the gaskets and paint them too.

Don't think you could paint these as its a silicone/rubber :dontknow:
