great car and drove realy well but at every bump a new piece of rust would fall off the body was so rotten the doors were non exisitant

i had a mk1 fiesta for a few weeks when i was 17, heater didnt work, headlights were crap, no servo so crap brakes, went like a bag of poo! the only good thing about it was i got it for 75 quid mot'd and taxed and then sold it for 350 quid!!!

I had a Mk1 Fiesta. It was better than the Mk1 Polo. Nuff said!

i bought a 18 year old nissan sunny with 40 k on it at market for work 110 quid i past three mots without work what a car best gear box ever had ps i woul have got it for 40 quid but the usual guys that buy nissan  datson were bidding

ive also and ill admit this i got an xr3i for ?50 when i was 18 drove it for 2 weeks then the headgasket went so i left it at the side of the road and bit by bit it dissaperead thank god

i still kinda like xr3is dont tell any one

I had a mk1 fiest that  ran on 3 cylinders for a year and a half, i did have to bump start it down a steep hill every morning but after that it was ok for the day

A 1.8 Cavalier CD (I think? it stood for something, can't remember what).

The power would sometimes go as I was braking for a junction or roundabout and I would lose all brakes, power steering, lights - everything!!

I used to have to slam it into second gear and bump start it while I was still moving!!!  8O

If I put the blowers on the wipers would come on as well, and they would only go off if I pulled over and turned the ignition off.

It was gold and the paint was crazed all over.

……….at least it was transport I suppose………….
