you can get 20v lumps for ?500 now so could do it alot cheaper i guess

My prices assumed just the engine, not the car too. Why don't you wait and seek out a car which has already had an engine conversion, they do occasionally come up for sale?

this is the key factor, for me, when budgeting conversions.
