Cornwall spring Mk1 get together?

Anyone in cornwall want to meet up maybe Truro area please reply and if enough interest is generated then we can arrange it.Im thinking a sunday afternoon before the end of April 08.Please reply and we can get this idea rolling ASAP for maximum attendance,if all goes well then we can have more get togethers throughout the summer! regards to every mk1 owner driver from Steve!

yeah i'm definately up for it, especially as i have just joined and this would be my first meet. be good to meet up with fellow mk1 drivers i'll be coming along in my 92 klipper hopefully with her new wheels!!!!  

Thanks for the interest and now the ball is definately rolling i suggest sunday 27th april 08. Location to be confirmed would the folks who attended last year at smokey joe's be happy with the same location? The car park is free and a good size and the grub is hot,plentiful and cheap!
So far the attending people are rustmuncher,ade123,cookster,dan_73 and his mate from st.austell and tibby. Spread the word on the other forums and lets fill the car park full of MK1'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cant it be up a bit as there are several north cornwall / devon people so around bobmin would be more central.........caddy boys are looking for a meet also

No sorry but the original idea for this get together was Truro area. I have been over to plymouth before for meets and elsewhere further up the line. Its not easy to change area/location as i am not familiar with Bodmin for a suitable location to all meet up. All i can say is if you north cornwall guys travel down for this meet then i will travel up for one that you organise up the county, i would happily travel to Bude for a meet no problem and so would other local mk1 owners im sure. So why dont you north cornwall guys get your heads together and all have a cruise down the A30 for a day out together and a big meet up down here.The location chosen is only 30 minutes from Bodmin or even less if your all racing down! It would be epic to see a convoy of mk1's all rocking up together at smokey joe's! come on lets try and pull it off!

i like the idea of meeting at some different venues, maybe rotate between north/mid/south cornwall?

Hey it dont matter what your golf is like it aint no show n shine u know lol! Its more the presence that counts,maybe you'l find some inspiration,its took me 2.5 years to get mine to look like it does now,thanks for confirmation dan ill see you there! good stuff!
