what works best to get a high shine?

I use Turtle wax stuff, nothing out the ordinary and tend to wax her once a year, but do use the hot wax facility on the local jet wash once a month.

Yeah Meguiars for me too, wash and polishes at the moment, highly recommend the 3 stage polish they do

IF i am feeling flush this month i am gonna get some of the dodo juice purple haze soft wax for my Corrado as at ?35 a tub it aint cheap but its supposed top be the Bulldogs Jewelery when it comes to shiney

i use tutle wax wash and wax. then autoglym resin polish and finished it with fst wax and turtle wax.

i use fairy washing up liquid then halfords polish :wink:

       smooth surface clay kit

       for deep clean
       stage 1 + 2 of the deep crystal 3 part system
       then finish off with the NXTGeneration TechWAX

       for inbetween washes NXTGeneration car wash.
       top up TechWAX when beading reduces.

       used foam applicators for first time as well and can recommend as you dont use as much and easier.

just use a hose pipe, bucket and sponge, then if i'm not feeling to lazy i might wipe over with a shammy…

ever heard of zymol vintage wax, its ?1500 per tub, yes thats right ?1500!!!
the shine is unbelievable tho!

Auto car wash !!

megs gold class, then megs paint cleaner, megs polish and then gold class wax.

next waxing i will be doing i think i will be buying some of this Zymol Concours

mind you once you have parted with your ?1800 you do get free refills for life, just make sure you live a long time :wink:

also use a microfibre cloth to wash with and use the 2 bucket method.  

aint wash mine since it came out of the spray booth and its now under a car cover, but i normally use turtle wax .

AUTOGLYM

Halfords advance shampoo on the regular washes,

Every so often ,Meg`s Shampoo,

Autoglym for polish and bumper and rubber clean

Megs Quick Clay  for when its sitting in the garage and mrs is watching naff stuff on telly

ive got a proffesional detailer and valet dude who is a good friend and uses some stunning stuff thats industry only, sadly its a 60 odd quid wash, but his work usually goes for about 200 and does the vag garages in the area, mainly on the new sports audi models and also the bmw garages… so i aint complaining too much about the price….

shame my cars a heap currently.

gold class shampoo
Quik clay
ScratchX
Stage1, 2, 3 wax
and gold class wax, just to finish off 8)

(although there is
wheel cleaner
hot tyre shine
glass cleaner
quik detailer) for extras
