porsche telidials on a cabby??

has anybody done this yet? ive seen them on tin tops but not a cabby ive recently purchased a pair and dunno what thickness adaptors to get mines a 89 karmen clipper can anybody help???

Not sure on the thickness of the adaptor plates as her boyfriend made them for her in his machine shop, PM her for more info!

 ill pm her now her cabby looks awesome with them on hopefully mine will look equally good but mine are bein mirror polished and wrapped in 45 rubber

hope so my cabbys metallic silver and i have the chrome side strips chrome handles /armour plates and chrome specailly made retro golf star shaped fuel cap really sets the paint off so hopefully the wheels will do it justice once i get some adaptors  

What size are the teledial and offset On my tintop i have 6/ 15 on the front and 7/15 on the back all et 52.3 (i think ) 20 mill spacers fit best unless you can get 15 for the front but if you have wider than 6/15 at front you need to step them out more and then watch out for arch scraping

I have 195/50 tyres but if you get lower profile it obviously helps. I wish i'd have gone for 165/45 or 50

erm there 15inch havent got a clue what the offset is :s tyres i have for them are 195/15/45 so should look pretty sweet gotta sell the new tyres they came off cause there huge like tractor tyres at 225/15/55

15/7s all round i think my alloys on it at the mo r 15/7s with 50s  rubber which sits comphtably and dosent rub

The offset is the number on the back of the wheel that starts with et :wink:
If the et is 52.3 then with 20 mill adaptors this takes the offset to 32.3 which is the closest you'll get to normal vw offset. That is if the info i have been given is right that you can't get 15 mill spacers anymore (off the shelf that is )

some 30mm adaptors have came up pretty cheap would you know if these will be to wide?

30mm would make them et22.3, might have some rubbing problems with un-modified arches, i had the lip cut off my arches, and ran 15x7 that were et25, had 165/50 tyres on so there was no rubbing

Running 25mm adaptors and 195/45/15s, although this set ended up on the bottom of the Thames    (RIP Tom)

Its actually a Rivage (Blue not Black), and that set were on Tom's Black MK2 when he lost it into the Thames and died  :cry:
