Did the earth move for you last night?

Go on then, who felt it?

It was well wierd. Sat on the sofa and it started shaking and I was like, who's rockin the sofa? Then I reaised it was the whole house shaking and there was a rumble and a big bang. 8O

Apparently it was the biggest for 25 years.

Me and my brother had to go out and look for cracks in the wall.

Yradave says relax.

Woke up to hear thunder and bed shaking, thought I'd better lay off the savouries from now on…..

Mrs Early leapt out of bed quite agitated. It had been blowing a gale that evening so I thought perhaps a tree had blown down or the roof lost some tiles. Looked out of window, couldn't see anything so went back to bed.

We were woken on 28 April last year by one, thought someone had bombed the Channel Tunnel - there is still scaffolding up in certain areas of Folkestone….and builders are hard to find (and they seem to be driving new cars and vans)…..
..luckily we had one chimney removed earlier and the other joint chimney was repointed the weekend before..
…so we know how you felt, but ours was not quite so big….

This is the first I've heard of it!!!!

Wondered what you were all talking about till the link!!

We knew nothing of it, and it hasn't been mentioned to either of us at work - Stansted and Cheshunt.
