cheers glen, looks lovely, but as you said, would be a shame to chop it up.

ideally after one that has been crash damaged so i don't feel guilty breaking it, they pop up every now and then on ebay so i'll keep an eye out :y:

All in good time john all in good time   you cant rush perfection :D  its gonna have a suspension kit on it soon

  just deciding what route to go down, expensive coilovers, Koni or H&R that i will NEVER re adjust once its set up  …or just Some Eibach springs, or a Koni SSK kit?

for now its back on its BBS RZ wheels anyway as it is Totally standard, which is a rare thing on a 17 year old car :D

i'd always go for coilovers rather than springs. that way you can get it the exact height you want, if you buy a -60mm kit and it's too low you're not going to be happy etc.

i'd just whack some FK Highsports on or the stainless version (can't remember what they're called)

That 16V Corrado is spot on for the money - if you do decide to go for 16V instead of G60, of course.....

it really is a lovely car, spot on bodywork. even the rear spoiler still works!

if my mate pulls out of renting the unit i might buy the car and tidy a few bits up and try to sell it on.

bound to make a profit. and if no interest, it could be broken.

i'll be getting another mk1 in there for parts soon hopefully. it's had some front impact damage. rest of the car is sound though.

then when that's all gone i'll be looking to get a G60 rado in there with some accident damage. take what i need then sell the rest on.

Ha I would make shift the roof, I wud be in there 24 hour if I had a garage

I've got the head back on mine, and torqued up. Exhausts off as am painting it black, need to paint rocker cover and grill, need to clean carb out and put that back on. Then be ready for starting. Got a door and a wing. Need to start on them asap. But the weather is a bitch!

Was you at elsecar yesterday?

Post

i have tried sorting the roof, got some heavy duty sheet and put it over my side of the garage (only side i could reach  )  and put tyres on it. still manages to drip through though  :banghead:

sounds like you should be all set soon

i would be in there 24/7 but there is absolutely nothing for me to be getting on with til i have some money!

didn't make it to elsecar, don't have owt to drive

was it a good do?
