102 RON?

When did i miss the release of this?!

http://www.bp.com/gene…Id=6621&contentId=7017179

I imagine you'll have to re-mortagage your house to fill a tank with it, but still, it's interesting to see that 102 RON fuel is available on a forecourt  :)

Also, i know this won't be ideal for most people here, but I thought I would post it up  :)

From this I'm supposing you've never been tempted to get even half a tank.

Shame on you.

It's true what they say, wait long enough and it'll come back round - now Retro fuel . .  those of us old enough to remember the old star ratings will remember 5 star (no not the group), 100+ octane stuff. Jags and the like would run on it but it was about 23p a gallon then !!

I intend and expect to feel a boot up my arse when I press the loud pedal mate.

i'm sure super was about 85p a litre then. didn't see the point of paying ?11 a gallon unless i was burning the living daylights out of the tyres untill it was empty.

I remember when a packet of crisps cost 2p, the same as a telephone call from a very damp and very smelly telephone box. God bless the mobile and the Kettle Chip.

I'm also tempted to go out now and get some rocket fuel, shame I've got nearly a full tank of 97 RON gnats pee in there right now.

Typo? If not then I'd have to agree.

Either way, it's just a laugh, eh!
