another mk1 resto for customer NEARLY FINISHED

started cleaning the floor up today and found a fresh new hole in the floor which ive got now sort before paint.

welding all done and front panel/wings preped

leave the hole it can count as air con in the summer and heating in the winter (next to the exhaust) bit like a flintstones car.

That hole is a bit extreme just to adjust the gear linkage Mik !!

gearlinkage i cut it to the exhaust rubber off  

Alright, alright, leave it out people (especially Fred Flintstone), its very rude to make jokes about a persons mk1. :wink:

the welding and prep is all done on the front panel and bulkhead/floor pan

the gearbox has been changed as the selector barrell was f$%ked and the gaskets stripped down ready to be changed

ive stripped down the engine loom and heres the end result

Added to which, smoke has just started coming through the dash air vents on my zx td, could be the heater matrix, anyway, hopefully
