What will be the approximate route of this convoy, I might be able to tag along, but I suspect the route from Wales-Midlands is significantly different than NW-Midlands?

For you Paul, just go straight down the A41, till you come to the A5 and your there, the Wrexham lot I would imagine will come down to Whitchurch and onto the A41, so could join them at the Truck Stop at Prees

Hmmm, Autoroute has me going over to the M6 for brevity, but having looked on a map, the A41 is a direct road (and I know it well - used to work in Malpas) so might take the "scenic" route. It looks like our (Welsh/Wrexham and mine) route would converge in Whitchurch, I don't know the truck stop but it might be worth a shot - best swapping numbers etc and if one of us is well early, or well late, etc or can't find it, skipping the liason and carrying on to the showground.

Is Malpas a realistic meeting point or does the Dee thoroughly interfere with plans to get east?

its dead easy to find any problems give me a shout folks as its just down the road from me!!!!!

Cool im sure toemk1cabbie will back me up here but we always take too much food and flasks of tea when we go to shows so im sure we will have a brew spare for ya!!  :wink:
